The Basics
Q: What is a string quartet?
A: A string quartet is typically two violins, a viola, and a cello.
Q: When should we make the music selections?
A: We ask that you have your requests ready at least two weeks before your event.
Q: Can you play outdoors?
A: Yes, but in case of rain we require a covered spot to perform.
Q: Do you perform only as a string quartet?
A: No we will perform in any combination you would like. You can find common groups to the right.
Q: How does the group dress?
A: In formal dress, men in tuxes and women in black.
Q: What do you require to perform?
A: One chair per musician, the chairs cannot have arms or wheels. We do not require amplification.
Q: Do you play receptions also?
A: We will play as little or as much as arranged.
